Style in Photography

The Shanghai Explorer enjoys a bright, bold colour palette in her photography whilst using editing tools such as Lightroom to balance photos. Her style is primarily strong, highly-saturated photos with warm undertones of red, yellow, orange and blue. With an openness to different styles and appearances, the body of work is diverse and each photo is edited individually. The photos offer both crisp and grainy styles while ensuring the strongest colours in a photo stand out. The mood style is light and happy, whilst mostly using sunny weather and blue skies to create feelings of warmth. Nature and outdoor venues are usually the chosen locations for shooting and the photos use natural lighting to create the desired brightness. In combination with Lightroom, Airbrush and Afterlight, The Shanghai Explorer uses her natural creative vision to finalise photos. Not only does the photographer have an eye for angles, but her passion for photography is great. Combining ability, motivation, self-teaching and passion has enabled Molly to create the body of work below and produce photography beyond her own expectations.
